Finally, a pic which truly said all..

I know I shouldn't be plagiarising, but this picture turned up as a comment in Malaysia Today, and I really think this picture truly reflects the current situation in the country. So I am going to write less and let the picture do the rest of the talking.

I would take this pic with a grain of salt. The fact that you can stage the "demo" publicly is already something, some more you can post it online. Or is the demo "staged"?
Whatever it is, let us not be so impressionable and be fashionably swept off our feet every time some shriveled prune with some media savvy cook up a anti/hate pie and throw it in your face and you just lick it? Some snots will have it no other way, if they can't bash for the day, their bed for the night will not be made. If they can't bash the government of the day, they'll even bash their heads against some wailing wall of their own invention. They equate swearing as being macho - a throwback to schoolyards. Don't be a sucker to a swearer, playing the role of acolyte or maid-in-waiting. These swear boys feed on your awe of them.
    I'm not impressed.

@ Mr. Zaharan - HUH? I read your comment a few times and the only message I seem to get across is that I am not supposed to bash the government?

@ Thevan - I am not sure if the pic was taken in Malaysia, but I can certainly assure you that a high level of Photoshop is involved.

Even a 10 year old can identify this picture as a super-imposed one. Obviously En. Zaharan bought it. And you said "media savvy cook up a anti/hate pie". Which media were you referring to? Utusan Malaysia? TV3? Bah!Its about time you get out of tht shell of yours and stop living in denial.

    Btw Naga,
"JACKPOT CHALLENGE: CAN YOU ADD MORE TO THE LIST??"

    Zaharan,

You think we bash the government because it is the "fashionable" thing to do? You do not have even one iota of understanding on the fundamentals of democracy, justice, human rights, government accountability and transparency do you? Your lack of understanding of the world beyond your narrow concepts is embarrassingly visible.

Anonymous, in case you didn't know, Badawi isn't 100% Malay. He has some Chinese blood in him, through his mother's side.

And if you didn't know too, none of our previous PM's were 100% Malay!!

    ALL UR COMMENTS ARE CORRECT

  14. Zaharan Razak November 18, 2008 9:23 AM

Haha, now it was my turn to get bashed! I enjoyed that while it lasted especially about being thought of having bought ..., not supposed to bash the government -and that too from Naga who is a sometime visitor to my blog and should have known better, and the last one takes the cake - I don't have an iota of - by implication - the brain stuff. I assume tzarina came to that conclusion after having done some rudimentary "research" about me ... Anyways, my point is simple - I highlighted an element, a possibility out of a spectrum of possibilities - if it doesn't fit one or two or some or most, fine, but it may well fit another. It was not meant to cast the whole caste into a caste. So don't cast my descriptions to situations that they don't fit and then turn around and say I've tarred all into a darker shade of black, so to speak. Anyways, visit my blog first and then bash me if you still must. Just like Naga, huh, Naga?

  15. -naga- November 19, 2008 3:32 PM

Zaharan, we did not bash you.

I was just saying your comment as a whole did not make sense, except for the fact that I should restrain myself from "bashing the government", or if you like, in legal terms and my right as enshrined in the constition, voicing out my opinion.

I have only visited your blog once, since you humbly requested me to do so, but the fact that you have highlighted my visit twice in your recent comment.. does it suppose to ring any bell to me or my readers?

Zaharan, you have your right to voice out in my blog, to my posts or otherwise, and likewise the same for me. I still stand corrected with my photo-post and the message it carries.

  16. Zaharan Razak November 19, 2008 7:53 PM

    I too stand corrected.
